A lot of new projectors do not have RCA output, 3.5mm audio output, Optical output and HDMI-ARC output, so there are some options may be can help you to set up old projector.

Option 1, if your projector have RCA output (or 3.5mm audio output)

  • Step 1,Turn off the soundbar and projector, connect the soundbar to your projector via RCA to 3.5mm cable (or 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable)
  • Step 2,Turn on the soundbar, press the "Input" or "AUX" on the soundbar remote, and select the green(or AUX) on the soundbar LED indicator (PS: if the soundbar shows a red light when connect to power, means the soundbar is standing by, please press the on/off button on the soundbar remote to turn on the soundbar)
  • Step 3,Play a video or TV show to test

 

Option 2, if your projector have Optical output

  • Step 1,Turn off the soundbar and projector, connect the soundbar to your projector via optical cable (remove the white rubber cover on the cable)
  • Step 2,Turn on the soundbar, press the "Input" or "OPT" on the soundbar remote, and select the white(or OPT) on the soundbar LED indicator(PS: if the soundbar shows a red light when connect to power, means the soundbar is standing by, please press the on/off button on the soundbar remote to turn on the soundbar)
  • Step 3,Turn on the projector, go to setting via your projector remote→select "Audio"→ select "Internal Speakers"→select "OFF", save settings, back to "Digital Audio Format/ Audio Delay"→ select "PCM", save the setting, back to TV home screen
  • Step 4,Play a video or TV show to test

Kindly Note:

  • The projector sound set may differ according to different models, if this method did not work, please kindly check your projector manual or contact us for help

 Option 3, if your projector have HDMI-ARC output

  • Step 1,Turn off the soundbar and projector, connect the soundbar to your projector via HDMI ARC cable to your projector HDMI/ARC JACK( HDMI ARC cable may not supply, please use yours) 
  • Step 2, Turn on the soundbar, press the "INPUT" or "ARC" on the soundbar remote,  and select the Purple(or ARC) on the soundbar LED indicator(PS: if the soundbar shows a red light when connect to power, means the soundbar is standing by, please press the on/off button on the soundbar remote to turn on the soundbar)
  • Step 3,Turn on the projector, go to setting via your projector remote→select "Display and Sounds"→ select "Audio Output"→select "Internal Speakers (on/off) "→ select "OFF", save settings, back to "Setting"→ Select "Audio Output" → select "Digital Audio Format"→ select "PCM", save the setting
  • Step 4,Play a video or TV show to test

 Option 4, if your projector doen not have any audio output jacks, please kindly use the sound source equipment to connect the sound bar, such as PC, Tablet, and so on.
